LOL! He's just gorgous! He has a sad tale to tell... it appears because his fur is a little long and typical of manx cats his " Poop Muscles " are a little weaker than your ordinary house pussy, he sometimes gets pooh stuck in his fur. Well his previous irresponsible nasty cruel owners, just couldn't " DEAL " with the pooh that stuck to the fur so it piled up and then the cat got maggots. Nasty cruel idiots who should be shot didn't want to take him to the vet so they dumped him at an animal shelter... a KILL animal shelter. On the day he was to die, there came the other org to the rescue and he came to the foster home on the 16th and tomorrow he comes to MY home... with a shaved butt, a new name and definately a happier future. I used to have a Manx cat (bless her soul). I had to put her down on Valentines day. Her health just got to bad and she couldn't walk. I found out interesting info from the vet. A Manx is a breed that is like it is because of deformity. The back nerves do not fully develop nor does the tail.. hence stubby. My cat 'Piggy' had a problem of not wanting to use the litter box when she pooped.. even with fresh litter or new box. Now it makes since in a way as nerve damage could have leaded to who knows what else. In the last year of her life I bought a 2 story townhouse and she got where is seemed like her walking got more and more painful. Until she stopped coming out of my room, then not out from under my bed much. Anyway.. a Manx breed isn't a great feature in a cat as they crossbreeding and genetic damage is what makes the cats a Manx.
