Guest guest
I have an acne spot treatment made with thyme linalol, sweet orange, and a couple of other oils. Is the thyme really okay to be using on a regular basis for what may be many years? Do I need to worry about the phototoxicity of the sweet orange? I do tan in a tanning bed. If I wash my face well before tanning would it be okay? Thanks! Justine
Guest guest
My daughter probably uses the same brand. She will be out in the sun a bit this summer, so I would like to hear comments about this as well. And about the thyme linalol. Guest guest
I doubt the little dab of the thyme in the acne treatment product would cause problems. Maybe try alternating it every so often with another product if it really does concern ya As for the sweet orange oil - I personally wouldn't go into a tannig bed after having put it on my skin. I'd think its best to use the treatment at night before bed and then wait until after tanning to reapply it. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Tracy Rivera [rubberjunkie] My daughter probably uses the same brand. Guest guest
Whew. That's what I have been telling her to do--after tanning and before bed. Thanks! Y'all are so smart. ;-) Tracy New email address: rubberjunkie *Some people only dream of angels; we held one in our arms.* Remembering Jacob March 8 - 9, 1996 Our Angel: http://sids-network.org/fp/jacob.htm - Christine Ziegler Tuesday, April 20, 2004 2:16 PM RE: Thyme linalol and Sweet orange for acne (tanning) I doubt the little dab of the thyme in the acne treatment product would cause problems.
