Guest guest
I have a couple of suggestions if you like... If you have stuffed toys or pillows small enough, you can either freeze them for a minimum of two hours or slap them in a Washing machine. That's usually enough to kill them. Also, pillows, especially polyester/foam filled pillows... dustmites love those. You really want to give up your pillow between 5 and 7 years. you wouldn't believe the amount of dustmites that can accumulate in a pillow. It is disgusting. In the mean time, give them a good freeze, wash them or stick them in the microwave if there is room and no metal bits. Guest guest
And use dust mite mattress, box spring, and pillow casings. Curtains are a biggie in bedrooms as well, change to blinds. The absolute biggest (after mattress and pillow) is carpets. We have gotten rid of all that, use encasings and even have air cleaners (which I highly also recommend) but we still have problems... of course we aren't living at the dr's anymore, just the occasional trip to the hospital for ds #2 and a cold here or there. But we all still sneeze, wheeze and drip from the eyes. Karen J Merriebell [Merriebell] Tuesday, April 13, 2004 10:11 PM Dustmites-- EWWWW. but I have a couple of suggestions if you like...
