>>you do accept that there is no such thing as a natural preservative

>>that is SAFE and EFFECTIVE .. right?

Actually, there is a safe, natural preservative. It's fairly new to the market,

and the manufacturer claims it is as effective as paraben blend preservatives.

We've been waiting for them to release challenge testing results. It's called

Naturserve. It's made from Cassia Leaf Oil, Potassium Sorbate, and Glycerin. It

does, however, have a cinammon odor...which might deter some crafters because it

could clash with scenting.

I think it's important to point out that some products without a water phase

should also be preserved...for instance if they come into contact with

water...(like a sugar scrub, unless you are packaging in malibu tubes).

Thanks for the info Tiffany! This is something to look into much more

closely now. I'd really like to see how those test results come out.

BTW - How are those babies? And you? Nursing twins - you get a hearty

hand shake and major kudos - I know just my one Milk Piggy sucks the

life out of me - a tag team must be keeping your hands (and boobs) full

*lol*
