I am Judy Nelson,

Blessed enough to be living within walking distance of Wasatch National

Forest in northern Utah.

Primary job (to earn $ to support my hobbies) is instructor and coach for

Customer Service for the IRS-- Specializing in Small Business Taxes

(employment/Forms 941)

I am also:

Distiller of aromatic plants (mostly Mints, Clary Sage & Tansy)

I began interest in herbs and natural healing 30 years ago, got into

essential oils about 18 years ago and have been creating blends about 15 years.

In the last six months, I have become interested in Gemstone therapy and

integrating that modality with my oils and herbs.

My latest blend creations are Gemstone blends. So far, I have 4—for Ocean

Jasper, Moss Agate, Carnelian and Citrine.

I am turning my passions/hobbies into a business.

The essential oil profile I have picked for the week is Cardamom.

Cardamom

- elletaria cardamomum - distilled from the dried ripe fruit (seeds). Has a

sweet-spicy, warming fragrance with a woody-balsamic undertone. Has elements

of SPICIE, FRUITIE, & SEEDIE. Blends well with ROSE, ORANGE, BERGAMOT,

CINNAMON, CLOVE, CARAWAY, YLANG YLANG, CEDAR, and NEROLI. Used to flavor

pharmaceuticals, extensively as a fragrance in soaps and perfumes. Flavor

ingredient in

curry and spice products. (Cineol, terpinyl acetate, limonene, sabiene,

linalol, linalyl, pinene, zingberene.)

 

CHARACTER: Clarifying, Stimulating, Encouraging, Enthusiastic, Refreshing,

Invigorating, Yang
