Hey Jeanine,

I have one of those! Anya once gave me, a few years ago, a recipe for

Pinapple Sage Cake, I believe. I haven't tried it so can't tell you how it is,

but it

sounded really good.

If you ask her she would probably give you the recipe.

Cheers!

Hi there Ylva,

Last year at our annual New Zealand Register of Holistic Aromatherapists

(NZROHA), we had Mark Webb from Australia as a guest speaker. I had always

preferred the Indian sandalwood, and still do, but have to say that the

Australian one is much better than it was. We were told that they are now

letting the first few notes evaporate before distilling , and the " cat pee "

smell is not there. He also had some mimosa, and it was divine, although

very intense. Mark was telling us that the sandalwood is grown using acacia

trees as the host in Western Australia, and he was saying it was a pity that

they didn't use the mimosa trees, and get two oils from one.! I use the

Australian sandalwood and manuka or kunzea as a blend for aching muscles and

it is wonderful.

On another totally different note, I have bought a pineapple sage plant

instead of a pineapple mint, so wondered if anyone can tell me some good

uses for a thriving pineapple sage plant!

Regards

Jeanine

I LOVE pineapple sage. I love making tea with it, I love the smell

from the leaves, and I love watching the huge beautiful flowers

that it produces.
