Guest guest
Well, I took the advice of a new 'friend' met right here on this list (smiling at janet). I took a few days to let go of things that are important but needed to be put in their place. Then I spent time on things I wanted to do for me like rereading Martin's works again and learning something else again (just like he said I would each time I read and reread). Like going to D.C. yesterday and meeting up with Ina May Gaskin of Spiritual Midwifery. Now I actually believe packing up and heading over to The Farm for a bit could be a possibility. And, I enjoyed the cherry trees in bloom. It was the perfect day, beautiful weather and the blossoms had yet to be disturbed by a good spring breeze and spring rain. They were exquisite and the fragrance of some of them was just strong enough to drown out some of the smell of the basin Only one thing happened: my friend wears her baby (sling) which I totally believe in. This frazzled looking mom stumbles by trying to corral her two kids (why I don't know they weren't doing a darn thing but walking a few steps not in line with her) says " Look how that woman has her baby. Isn't that a strange way to carry a baby? " Grrr......like a record needle scratching. Now I am back feeling refreshed and hearing that Plum Island was saved just topped my sense of wellness with the proverbial cherry on top (pun intended). Have any of you seen the Einstein memorial? My girlfriend quipped right away after showing me the quote inscribed around the back " Well, where would he live today? " Dale
