Guest guest
Hey Paris, > OK, a lawsuit, yes that is what I am looking for! ) Keep looking. ;-) > So, one can say it is certified organic and the proof is on the person labeling > the product to prove it should anyone (the FDA or some other body of regulation) > ask, is that correct? That is correct .. but the FDA is not gonna ask. And the hard part would be in proving it is NOT Certified Organic .. not in you having to prove that it IS Certified Organic. Innocent until proven guilty. Some folks have asked me why I not longer offer Certified Organic Ylang Ylang Complete .. and I tell them it is the same one I offered before but I changed CO to OR (Organic) because I could not get a copy of the certification documentation. Simple as that. Is it a different oil? No! Did the price change? No! Do folks like it less? No! But I'm not comfortable in that I can't get a copy of the certificate. And let me tell you the next one that is gonna go from CO to OR .. Vanilla. It is not because I don't have a certificate. It is because I think that offering an ABSOLUTE as Certified Organic is kinda like saying that a child molester is kind-hearted person because he is a priest. So the Vanilla Bean were certified as Organic .. but then we used two different kinds of solvents to produce the Absolute. If seeing a CO designation on an Absolute gives folks warm fuzzies then all they are doing is BSing themselves .. and I don't think they need my help to do that. > When I ask for the certifying body it is not always provided. If you get a certificate it will state who they are. And most of those agencies only work in one country when we're dealing in the Third World. > Thanks for your help in this! Love, Paris Welcome .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
