Thanks again Marge! Love, Paris actually...yes... or, perhaps, if you have EVERY batch tested... but the end buyer can't afford to do that. so you have to start trusting somewhere along the line... not to do so creates paranoia. I test over half the oils we get in. If I've been buying from the same distiller for years, NO I'm not going to test his crop every year... he depends on his good reputation as much as I do... if I've never bought from you? of course I'm testing... and I'm comparing the gc/ms you supplied with the one I paid for... and I trust my instinct...the two seriously adulterated batches I discussed yesterday both set off my 'too good to be true' buzzer. the rose geranium was from a very well known source. The chemist at that time employed by that source swore up and down that it was the real thing no matter WHAT my chemist says... has been mentioned in this discussion. he has since admitted the eo was adulterated. he has also said he was young and has learned better. perhaps. Guest guest
Does any one know this guy?? I'm on a natural pet care group and his condesending attitude towards me is about ready to make me tear out my hair. A group of them are advocating the RDT therapy for horses just willy nilly - and all I'm trying to get them to see is that SOMETIMES an oil applied neat on any animal or person can cause a reaction...geez....you'd think I was taking the world away from them!!!
