I guess if one wants to be a professional aromatherapist then these manuals would be good to have. There is also a conference in Seattle (aromatherapy association) which looks like it has some interesting talks for those obsessed on specifics of aromatherapy. Regarding Kurts' books...he often recommends the internal use of oils...which seems to be a controversial topic, in general. Other sources I have read say to absolutely not use internally some oils that he suggests...for example, tarragon and cinnamon oil (to his credit he is recommending one drop at a time in a carrier). Any thoughts on this? The only essential oil that I have used internally is oregano oil and generally in food. Michael
Guest guest
Hi Michael, >I have read both of Kurt Schnaubelt's books and have personally found >them the most interesting of the books on EOs available in >bookstores, libraries, etc. I can't afford the more expensive manuals >(Martin Watt, etc.) <snipped> IMO you can't afford to NOT have Martin Watt's manual. It is a manual full of facts on many essential oils and for a person like myself who sells products to the public using essential oils for use on skin, I would never have done so before obtaining " Plant Aromatics " . I am a person who likes to have the facts. And the forty or so bucks it costs is not so expensive considering the payoff. You should really consider getting it.
