Guest guest
I was wondering any of you who have ever sold off supplies before. How did you do shipping? I mean how did you figure out how much to charge etc? Did you have a scale at home and just sort of figure? Do you weigh the box too? I am thinking of selling off some of my fragrance oils that I went nuts and bought too much of. Why let it sit around when someone else can use it! Anyway any ideas folks who are more experienced than me? -Jennifer
Guest guest
http://postcalc.usps.gov/ I would weigh the item in the box and go to this link to figure how much it will cost to mail it to the zip code your customer is at. Then charge what it costs. I tell people I'll give them the total after it is weighed and ready to go. I do it different if I was shipping in volume every day. .. Guest guest
Go to a " Mail Boxes etc, " or your local post office or shipping comany and ask to have your products weighed. Shipping will vary between towns and states and NORMALLY they are happy to help. It is usually good to get that done so you can figure in the costs ahead of time. Some of these people will give you a price list to go by, and you can usually use a bathroom scale to weigh things out... Include the box and packing material since that is included in the weight.
