Sorry Butch and Patty, it is " Poke " , my fingers didn't listen to my brain, LOL!

They might call it " polk " down in TaxUs .. in Kawacky we call it poke

salat .. everbody know salat ain't got no " d " in it. Texacans don't got

no horses .. they got hosses .. so likely it is they got polk too. ;-)

Its one of the most tasty poisonous plants around .. I grew up waiting

for Spring so we could pick some fresh poke salat. Gotta boil it twice

and throw the water out each time .. larpin' gud it is.
