Sacred Aromatherapy (long intro)

Hello list of scent lovers, I signed up here yesterday, as I'm amidst a search

for some new tools to add to my healing kit. I work in varying modalities with

animals & humans, & am ready now to be inviting essential oils more into my work

with individuals, for myself & with my family. I've used Auracacia products for

daily baths & in other forms for many years -- Tiferet is another company I've

also enjoyed. Recently I've been doing some internet searches, since I've been

gifted with the ability to be purchasing some blends & individual oils, & am

writing here for input & suggestions, as has been recommend by a few experienced

aromatherapy folks.

 

In the last few weeks I've been considering varying internet aromatherapy

companies & am amazed to see how many wonderful sounding companies there are out

there! I'd guess that many who belong to the list here offer out oils & blends

& have websites with these gifts from the plant worlds. In the last few months

I've been given some of the YoungLiving products & have been researching that

company also. I'm already aware of website pages where some of those

contraversies are discussed, & haven't made my own decisions yet, about what

products will best serve me & my family, animals & clients.

 

I would invite anyone who has oils to sell to send me your website info

privately & to speak about how you see Aromatherapy as a sacred work. I would

also be interested in receiving private posts about Young Living oils & your

specific positive or negative experiences with those products & the company. I

can see that their blends appear to speak to much of the sacred & spiritual &

emotional healing arenas, which is where I do my best work with clients, & their

complete package of oils is appealing for a seeming ease of beginning.

 

It's important for me to be working with companies & individuals who honor that

each person is meant to find what is 'right' for themselves. I want to work

with companies who acknowledge that we're all imperfect humans who are gonna

blow it sometime. I want to work with companies & /or individuals who want to

speak about others with as much integrity & respect & compassion as possible.

I've seen much reactionaryism out there about the YoungLiving stories, & I do

understand that when we humans are triggered, sometimes we get a hot button

reaction & speak from anger, greed , victimization, authoritarianism,

superiority or whatever other failings we might invite into our lives to be

healing amist our personal stories. In my earlier years (I am now a bit over

the 50 'hill') I had some time of involvement in varying cults, & am not

interested to invite mind control nor brainwashing nor manipulation, nor

positioning myself as 'the best' in any form, tho tis rampant in our culture yet

overall. Tricky sometimes -- to use critical left brain thinking, when honoring

also the right brain innate knowings of creation & intuitions.

it's amazing how the internet invites communities of commonalities to form round

the globe! I'm happy to be considering becoming a more active member in the

Aromatherapy world -- amaZing, how the giftings from the plant people can so

feed our souls. At the moment, Geranium & Juniper are 2 of my favorite

nurturing scents, & Frankincense too. Might those 3 go together to create a

blend? & if so, what might be the overall focus? I'm excited to be considering

learning about blendings!
