Guest guest
Hello anita-r, In reference to your comment: è I have a couple of new puppies ( about 3 months old). è What EOs /blend can I use to get rid of fleas and è ticks? Anita in TX I once did an infusion of rosemary and thyme (I was limited at the time to what I had in the house). I brought water to a boil, added the rosemary and thyme, turned off the stove, covered it, and let it steep for an hour. Then I strained it, added tea tree EO and used that in their baths, and also sprayed it on the carpet and bedding. Worked very well. I don't have exact amounts, as this was years ago, and I was kind of thinking quickly, and, as I said, very limited, but rosemary is an anti microbial and I remember reading somewhere that fleas don't like thyme. You could add garlic in there as well. This was when I was living in Cali and was the first time I'd dealt with fleas. I live in CO and don't have to worry about them very often. Not to strong a solution as they do lick of course, about 10 drops to 1 0z water. Hope it works for you. There are many insect repelling oils to try: Citronella, Eucalyptus, Galbanum,Lemon, Lemongrass, Pennyroyal, Pine among others. Anne
