Guest guest
Well, here's 2 of 3...hahaha! OK...last night we had HORRIBLE winds...not quite tornado, but knocked trees over anyway. We had a can of gasoline to get knocked over on our side porch and have no idea how much gas spilled, but my dh said he didn't think it was a whole lot because there wasn't much in there to begin with. Problem is the wall where it spilled, butts up to my den and the side porch is also right off of my bedroom. So, because we have no insulation under our house right now, the fumes permeated my house and sent me into 3 asthma attacks (being the highly muti-chemical sensitive person I am). We are thinking that the petroleum soaked into the wood floor on our porch....we tried covering the area with cat litter and baking soda. That didn't help much. Then we soaked it with hot water and Orange Clean. The smell is still here, though not so bad since we kept the windows open last night (and it was COLD!). Does anyone have any ideas how to get this smell gone?? I sure don't want to have to move in somewhere else till it goes away! Thanks so much!
