Guest guest Posted March 7, 2004 Report Share Posted March 7, 2004 I want to thank all of you who weighed in on the subject. I read every reply and there was a lot of information to ponder over... That little spitfire in Sweden made me laugh... I had forgotten how completely different they do things there in school than here. Course I didn't have any children while living there, but knew a wee bit about it as at one point I thought of returning to my old nightmare of a job, preschool teacher. However qualifications there in Stockholm were/are much different than here and I couldn't face going back to school... ANYWAY, I digress. I do that you know. I went and spoke with her teacher on Friday. Apparently she is much improved. Hooray for our side. So what does that mean. It means I'm not pulling her out right now. Although she was interested in the idea, it was more about spending time with me rather than the teaching side of it, she said she would really miss her friends... So for the time being, she's happy enough to be left there and I'm going to keep pondering on the idea!
