SOAP PROJECT

I am a member of THIS group,but also have a group of my own;

A member of my group Lala (lil_sasla5) is married and her husband has

been sent to Afganastan(sp?). She is young & was going stir crazy

there by herself. So I reccomended that she start a project to keep

her busy. Of all the reccomendations I gave her; she chose a soap

for our soldiers,,, what she is asking help with is in

the EMAIL #1. below I wanted to post her email in our group emails so

that if any members want to participate they can and it will be a

great thing!!! We/She wants to show our " MILITARY MEN & WOMEN " we do

care, think of them & pray for their safety! I hope it is ok for me

to do this for her. She is new at soapmaking, so she isn't members

but on 2 groups, mine :mamawpapawssoapkettle &

soapcrafters. So I told her I would try and get this posted here, so

if any of the other members want to help out they will have all the

information they need to join in and help out. Thanks in advance.

EMAIL #1.

As many you that know me, know my husband is in the army and recently

deployed to Iraq then is going to Afghanistan for the next 18 months.

I have heard that the soldiers out there are many times having to go

up to 2 weeks without a shower! Many of them do not have families or

friends here in the states that care so I want to let you all know

that I am putting together a group of people that want to send what

ever products they want and or can to me I will then separate them

like into soaps, lotions, wipes, food, etc. then put together

individual packages and sent over seas, along with letters from an

elementary school that has a program where kids get solider " pen

pals " . That is how I plan on doing it right now if you have any ideas

feel free to tell me! Thank you so much for wanting to get involved

it takes a lot for our men and women to leave their families and any

little bit of support we can give helps out greatly and they can feel

a little cleaner! If anyone decides to be a part of this you can send

the products to me and I will ship them to our troops! So anyone who

would like to be involved please email me @ Soap4Soldiers and

we can start things up! I appreciate it and so will our soldiers!
