ALERT: Notify about your e-mail account utilization.

Hey y'all,

 

Lots of messages flying around now .. and they are intended to scare

folks and get them to open the links. All these messages are Bogus ..

and dangerous too. They ALL contain a virus so if you follow the

instructions and open one you gotta deal with getting rid of it ..

because you got it .. sure as cats have kittens,

 

I received two different types .. from five different sources. Subjects

were:

 

" Notify about your e-mail account utilization " .. we can see problems

with the grammar and structure there - huh?

 

" Email account utilization warning " .. which is hawgwash .. its my damn

account and I can use it as I wish if I don't violate standing laws.

 

Howsomeever .. and this is important .. those two messages had lots of

data in them .. but not readily observable. They had 17 & 18 KB data.

Meaning .. they were loaded .. with a virus.

 

A smart one this virus .. the five sources I received email from were:

 

1. My Server.

2. My company in Maryland.

3. The creator of my website.

4. The webmistress of my website.

5. Idma Management (The List)

 

But .. none of those folks sent a message.

 

So .. don't open the crap .. and if you did open one .. debug now.

I received one of these but it said it was from paypal

I didn't even bother with it at all. Ofcourse it also had a link to

go and change your password. This is dangerous.
