Guest guest
Margaret Honey, I couldn't agree with you more (BTW, where have you been??) - it's all in the name Body BUTTER. I have tried adding some cornstarch, but what good did it do?? Nothing to my humble (??) opinion. I prefer my butters to be just butters, if I want something less greasy, I make a cream or lotion. I have made a butter with all cacaobutter, beeswax and VDOCC - and that get's absorbed into the skin right away and leave absolutely no greasy residue. I don't know if I'm backwards or something, but I think there are so many " strange " products out there, but there are only so many things one can use in one cream. I don't think the products get's better the more stuff I add, but the quality comes from the right , well chosen ingrediences. But again - that's how I fell. Saying that, I still would like to get my hands on something good, to make a skin softening bath powder with. Hyrdolized this or that, is not to be found on this side of the pond :-( Fragrant Blessings, Ylva
