Guest guest
Hi, all! In the discussion on natrasorb, someone mentioned using cornstarch instead to keep a body butter from being too greasy/oily. (Doesn't bother me, as it soaks in after a few minutes, but hubby doesn't like the feel of it...) Anyway, I am not using preservatives in my butter, as I'm not adding any water and since it's just for us -- not for selling. Since cornstarch is a food item, would I need to preserve the butter if I added some of that? (Trying to make it simple and all-totally-completely natural.) Thanks! Guest guest
Ellen, You don't need preservatives in body butter because it doesn't have water in it. Adding Corn starch or Natrasorb still doesn't require a preservative as it is not H2O. Hope this helps. Sandi
