Guest guest
OK...call me ignorant here...I consider myself pretty 'up' on all the internet abbreviations, but this one has me stumped? The only one I can figure out is 'Your mileage may vary' but then, that doesn't make sense in this context. I have seen this more than once on various lists, so could someone help me out here and tell me what it means?? Kati <snip> - though the definition of natural is pretty broad. It's a YMMV thing. :-) JenB

I was essentially trying to say " whatever works for you " , or something to that effect, but DH came home with exciting news so I quick finished up the post and hit send without proofing. Duh. Sorry for the confusion. JenB

Surprised a lot of terms, like YMMV, killfiles, FWIW, AFAIK, IRL, etc aren't more common on , as they've been standards on the usenet for a decade. Jen -- heck, I understood it, but then, MMMV from the rest of the group :-) (OK, I just made MMMV up -- ignore it!) http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady

I recently joined a precomception group and they have a two page file of acronyms for all that reproductive stuff - it is pretty wild, IMHO.
