Guest guest
> Tell me more about these, please. Heard of them, not experienced them > myself ... Well, I got them from Trina and Bill at snowdrift - and i trust them as they are cosmetic chemists and have TONS of great info on their site. I'm not afiliated, just a fan. Jenny Welch also sells them, but I don't have her email on hand. The silicone oils add slip and glide and a " professional feel " by this I mean it's easier to duplicate the feel of store bought lotions (my favorite dermalogica cream.) They are also just perfect for conditioners and shampoos, as they give the product that detangling quality. I won't ever make another balm without them - they give a balm that protective barrier - love that. You can also use them for dry perfume oils or body sprays. Hair gloss, detanglers, and styling aids. I have read about using them as linen sprays too, just not done it yet. I'm still playing and testing, but I rilly rilly like them. I know there is some controversy about exactly just how natural they are, but silicone is a pretty inert and safe TOPICAL ingredient. (note I said topical, least I start off a whole deluge of breast implant posts ;-) I'll keep you posted on my experiments. JenB
