Guest guest
In true form, ate the original message. But given the way things are going - this may show up twice. I apologize if this is the case. ~~~~~~~~ Hi Anya, Have it. Had a bottle from back in the day when Finny decided spraying the house with his urine was his favorite form of stress relief. I was up visiting my vet friend the other day (OT, but Rex had an abnormal ultrasound, and now needs a kidney biopsy to rule out Lymphosarcoma - don't get me started on my worries about THAT) and it looks like Feliway now makes a " plug in " type thing, not unlike a glad plug air freshener. I thought that is a great thing for vets to be doing, to alleviate a cat's stress in the vet office - but then again, my vet friend can do no wrong by me - he's the best. Feliway is great for all manner of things, anxiety, spraying, litter box issues, inter-cat aggression... as I am sure you know. I plan to douse that carrier and myself in it before we go. The power of phermones and hormones on animals is NOT to be underrated. Once, I was assisting in a artificial insemination for a pair of hound dogs, and happened to get " eau de estrus " i.e. canine estrogen and assorted phermones, all over me. We drop a few drops of it on the rear end of the bitch when the stud is " reluctant. " I didn't think much about it - we can't smell it - and went on home that evening. When I got out of my car and started walking up the hill, every freaking male dog in the neighborhood came charging up to me and err... started humping my legs, and any other part of my body they could get to. My roomate at the time thought it was rather funny, as she watched me struggle through this pack of canine lotharios to the safety of the house. <g> From then on I was rather a favorite with the neighborhood dogs.... I have a few other stories of canine reproductive procedures gone amusingly wrong (for me at least.) Any time anyone gets depressed, email me and I'll tell you about how fun it is to manually collect specimins from intact male dogs. LOL!! Guest guest
My dear Jen, I must thank you for the best laugh I've had in a few days. It's hard to cry when you are laughing hysterically. You seem to have had some very hairy experiences. *Chuckle, chuckle* MAKE A HAPPY MEMORY EVERY DAY: Evelyn Alternasense Skin Design Products www.alternasense.com<http://www.alternasense.com/> - nsorcel<nsorcl < > Monday, March 01, 2004 5:58 PM Rescue remedy for cats/Anya/Feliway I have a few other stories of canine reproductive procedures gone amusingly wrong (for me at least.)
