ROFLOL! My wee granddaughter (who is now 2) flushed a hand towel and

half a box of wipes down her Mommy's toilet a few months ago. They

plungered, they snaked, they took the pot off the floor, nothing -

nada - solid. Had to call RotoRooter, who (when all was clear)

looked straight at the offending little creature and asked if she

knew anything about this.....what word do ALL two-year-olds

know? " NO!! " Then she ran off and hid.

Don't know if that's what's wrong with yours, but thanks for the

laugh!

Years ago I had a huge German Shepherd. He liked to drink from the toilet so we

had to keep it closed but one time we missed something happened. It wouldnt

flush anything down. We plunged, we snaked, we did everything and it just

wouldnt work. We finally had to replace it. sigh. That new one worked fine but

we couldnt see any reason why the old one wouldnt work until we decided to break

it open... and found a HUGE beef bone caught in the trap. Arrrugh!

(It is funny NOW!)

I had to respond to this one!

I have been fortunate enough to have had a son that was never interested in

flushing things down the toilet...HOWEVER, we had rental property at one

time and the lady that rented from us, called to say that the toilet was

clogged and they couldn't get it fixed. So, my husband, Mr. Handyman that he

is, went over to try and fix it. He ended up having to replace the toilet!

Why, you ask? Because they tried to flush clumping cat litter down the

toilet & I mean LOTS of it! Now, how stupid is that I ask you? >:op

We are now just beginning to laugh at that one!

Always in faith,

Kati

LOL Jonee. Reminds me of the time my nephew was about 18 months old. His

mother was rinsing out one of his cloth diapers in the toilet. She stepped

away for a second and WHOOSH, he flushed the toilet and laughed so hard as the

diaper went, as he put it, " Bye bye " . They had to take the commode off the

floor and attempt to get it out. After hours of trying to fish it out with an

unwound hanger they couldn't. i walked in, saw them, said " let me try. " First

shot out I snagged it and out it came. My sister changed to disposable diapers

after that lol.

Hi Katy!

Well, in their defense, SOME litters DO say that they are flushable.

However, given the volume at which my cats produce - I can't even

begin to think of what, even if it were flushable, volume was going

down that toilet.

Boggles the mind, it does. :)

Good that you can laugh about it - seems there's no alternative!!

Those little hot wheels cars will do it every time. Have had em float to the

top after about a month of plunging may times. The toilet would work for a

while and we would think it was fixed. Then it would change positions and clog

up again. Till eventually it would come loose and float it's way out.

Number 4, we've been more careful, but there are times when it has

A little humorous story that will bring a smile to parents of wee tots.

One of the young pilots that works with my husband

would always go to Toys R Us each time he flew to LA. Bought his cute

little 20 month old daughter a tea set.

He is having a " sleep in " with his wife and the precious child brings him

in a " cup of tea " , he thanks her profusely after drinking it , and is

given another, and so on. Then, he realises that she cannot turn on the

tap...................
