Guest guest
The recipe I have for 4 thieves vinegar uses 5 things: onion, garlic, habanero or cayenne peppers, ginger & horseradish...... blenderized w/vinegar. Steep for a couple of weeks then strain. I use it for cold/flu type things. Blessings, Pat > Do a search on the internet on 4 theives' vinegar. Guest guest
I don't give it to the kids. I think it's against the law to tie children up so you can pour stuff down their throats!!! hee hee Pat > I'm having visions of children running for dear life as mom goes for the 4 > thieves after they sniffle lol. > > Bill > Seraphim's Touch
Guest guest
LOL! That's the exact same thing I was thinking - in fact, I can remember running from my parents. Their thing was onion syrup and horehound cough drops - that was until my Dad somehow was able to buy penicillin from the pharmacist and give us shots (over 40 years ago). They never heard my sisters or me sneeze, sniffle or cough until we felt we were ready to die! But, I'll bet her remedy works ( " onion, garlic, habanero or cayenne peppers, ginger & horseradish...... blenderized w/vinegar. Steep for a couple of weeks then strain. " ), 'cos I have a sister who makes something very similar to that now, and she swears by it. Still laughing.....
