Jeanne Rose SWEARS by Tanecetuum Annuum (annual tansy, sometimes called

morrocan blue tansy) for allergic asthma...says it will halt an attack in

it's tracks... now, she takes it internally, which I don't recommend..

but I have a client who has written that since she started diffusing a few

drops of the tanectum in her aromalamp every morning, she has been able to

cut her allergy medicine WAY back... so...I suspect it is helpful by

inhalation, as well. (in fact, for a respiratory condition, seems to me

that inhalation would be the way to go...but what do I know?)

I've also been told that ammi visnaga, used regularly, can act as a

'preventative'... but... I am very suspicious of that..

also...Litsea Cubeba is supposedly a bronchial antispasmodic...I've seen it

recommended for use during an attack...

not sure whether the last two might not qualify as 'aromatherapy

legends' but I have seen the tansy in action... it does help
