As a local, I can say of Mel, that EVERY SINGLE THING he does he is only thinking of his career. Even to the extreme where he will not allow his picture to be taken next to fans that are taller than him. (He's rather short too; so that includes most people.) Butch, you are way to sharp to fall for that. " Mel Gibson has never, in my opinion, made a bad film. " Dude, you must have missed 'Braveheart.' It was kinda like a 3 hours 'Kevin Sorbo Hercules' with a better ending. Not that I have anything against Kevin Sorbo, but his show was kinda silly.
