RE: Tone Of Posts

Hi Anya,

Sometimes we just don't realize the way we unintentionally come across

to others. It happens in person and it definitely happens in written

word communication.

And yes I did make it clear here to EVERYONE on this list, including my

list management team, which is Sandy F., Kathleen P, and Butch O., that

I expect everyone to keep this list friendly and comfortable and not get

nasty or send out posts with a hostile or negative feel to them. And I

do mean EVERYONE!

As I said - " Everyone please, try to keep the tone of

your notes pleasant and friendly :) This goes for ALL members of this

list, including my list management team! So please folks, keep it in

mind before you hit send! "

I don't agree at all, Chris, as I wrote to you *privately*. I reread the

entire post, and the only part I found that could be misconstrued, IMO,

is

(as emailed to Chris, *privately*:

IMO, the point that was misinterpreted:

>>Practicing medicine without a

>>license, especially when public domain warnings are in place, and you

can't

>>plead ignorance if someone is harmed is very, very irresponsible,

unethical

>>and dangerous, IMHO.

>chris,

>i just reread my entire post, and this is the only part I found that

could

be misinterpreted as 'harsh' if the reader didn't realize I _wasn't_

talking_about_ the_ Doctor. He can practice medicine (chiro) -- I was

talking about hucksters, unlicensed sellers that push the stuff despite

the

warnings, and I didn't name them. I wrote that post as I would to a

friend

and colleague. I really think you jumped the gun on this. If a colleague

wrote me that post about some points we were debating on substantive

issues, I would not regard it negatively, and I would attempt to answer

his

queries point by point.

I was also asking him to search further - with me - to get the citations

on

excess free calcium. I mentioned he has access to chiro portals, and

that

it would be good if he kept up on the latest literature regarding it. I

get

that kind of email all the time, and see it on other lists. We disagree

on

the subject, no biggie. One person on this list flamed me, and then you

followed with your post. Nasty things were said about me, and I didn't

say

anything nasty to the Dr. Maybe if you reread the post, you'll see that.

If folks took as 'harsh' my quoting the Dr. and Lucks on the Vitex

warnings, there's nothing I can do about that. Those were his words,

about

the dangerous, *scary* side effects, and Lucks warnings about needing

tests

before you use the EO, nothing more.

I have absolutely no animosty towards the Doc, and invited him, several

times, in my post, to help provide more input on this group.

Hope this helps.
