I'm from around Houston, TX, was born in Conroe, Tx, never have lived

any place else. On my daddy's side, my ancestor, Aaron Cherry, Sr. was

the 1st permanent white settlement in the state of Texas in 1819. (No,

Stephen F. Austin wasn't the 1st!) My mother's people are from Mississippi.

 

However, I have had years of voice lessons (started signing in public at

age 3) and they darn-near stripped the drawl right out of me!

 

I really am 100% Suthern. And, I AM kin to Robert E. Lee, that's my

mamma's maiden name!
