Guest guest
Then I'm suthran through and through. Born and raised in a town with the population of 2000 and that included the sheep and turkeys. You can take the girl out of the small town but you cant take the small town out of the girl... some people call me hick. I don't care, wouldn't change a thing. Karen Jones folks who live a rural lifestyle or are farmers or ranchers or mountain folks .. that's what Suthran is really all about in modern times. Its about knowing your cousins and your neighbors and your sheriff cause he's a home boy .. and living in an area where those around you have lived for many generations and other things associated with small town or rural type living as compared to the hustle and bustle of the big city where the closest one gets to a wild critter is seeing a rat or a pigeon. ;-P
Guest guest
Hey y'all, General Robert E. Lee is everybody's father. He went down in history, accepted by the US Army today, as being the kindest, most effective, and most brilliant tactical genius in the history of warfare. Plus he was an extremely fair and gallant and caring person. General Grant was drummed out of the Army as a captain for being a drunk. In the beginning of the ridiculous political actions of fanatic members of Congress (Northern and Southern) Lincoln tried to get (then Colonel) Robert E. Lee to accept command of the Army of the United States but Lee was a Suthern Gennelman and Virginian .. he couldn't turn his back on his traditional homeland .. so he refused .. and eventually Lincoln brought in Grant .. who really didn't do a good job but did do his best .. and later became one of the worst presidents we have had .. still doing his best. So .. we are all the children of the Great General Robert E. Lee. ;-) > 94% (Dixie). Is General Lee your father? > > Well, I reckon there's no question that I was born and raised in the heart > of North Carolina, huh? > Y'all come back now...ya hear???
