Guest guest
I don't think they took into very much account the western states' way of talking. I came out 49% yankee and I've never even been to the south. And just FYI a creek is a nice little meandering stream that sings as it goes a long and is clear enough to see the trout swimming in it. A crick travels through the cow fields and has a funny smell. TWO completely different words LOL. Karen J If you take this test .. you might be surprised what you are. :-P http://www.chuckchamblee.com/dom/fun/yankee_dixie_quiz.htm
Guest guest
Yo Pam .. Cheryl .. other good folks .. Bet y'all can't even guess which end I came out on. ;-P The Turks here call me the Original Ankara Redneck .. but say my Turkish has an accent similar to the Laz people of the Black Sea Region. But in all fairness .. y'all are more Suthran than you think cause some of those questions had either no answer or the answer was related to how things are said in places other than the South. ;-) Butch > well I'll be! > I'm > 61% Dixie - a definitive Souther score! > always did think I favored that Daisy Duke!
