Guest guest
GREAT! Lets try to set this up for March (and unlike the ill fated poorly timed and unenthused Autumn Swap we'll actually get this one done *lol*). I don't have a lot of seeds to swap at the moment. I gave a literal bushel basket full of seeds away to some local farmers in Arvada, CO before I left, but I think I can still find some goodies to share. Folks, start getting a list together of what you've got and are willing to swap and we'll start going from there! Don't e-mail me YET about participating, I'll let ya know when I can handle that end of it, but get geared up! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Neysa Dormish [the-neysa] >> I'd LOVE to get a seed swap going on here for spring > Count me in!!! > Hugs > Neysa

Hi Chris: It's near the end of our growing season here in Miami, and I'd be happy to send you a bunch of seeds to make up for that 'bushel basket', although my lot will be more like a 'baby basket' worth. Some are one or two years old, and I don't want to hold them over another year, and figure they'll still give pretty good germination this year. I have your addy, I'll pop them off to you next week. yesterday's harvest: calendula, nasturtiums, LOTS of tomatoes, collards, hot peppers, rosemary, onions, beans. Not a swap, just a giveaway :-) I was down in South Dade county today, a winter 'breadbasket' for the eastern part of the country, and after enjoying a strawberry shake at Knauss Berry Farm, and picking up a dozen of their pecan rolls, I hit a bunch of farm markets for odds and ends. Great day, ready for a nap. http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
