Can anyone help me with information about adding an oil as a preservative for essential oil/hydrosol. Is it Grape Seed oil? Guest guest Posted February 12, 2004 Report Share Posted February 12, 2004 Barbara, Two oils are used as an anti oxidant. They keep the oils from becoming rancid. ROE is rosemary oil extract. The second is T50 which is a vitamin E mixture. TO date no essential oil has been commercially produced for a preservative.
