Guest guest
That was priceless, we would put them down and not find them. I am glad at least someone else on the planet seems to know about that problem. I think I have passed the time I can take a small grandchild out, due to dangerou I spend a lot of time looking for my keys or anything else I need, so far I can find my car, and I have a remote I can beep it in the parking lot. Guest guest
I am afraid I just might DELIBERATELY leave them somewhere!! My nerves just are not what they used to be. Our twin great g'sons had twin to twins syndrome when they were born and are two little miracle boys. Adorable fellas with far more energy than their great granny. We start YOUNG in my family. LOL! Ya know, I have NO regrets. Hubby and I are young enough to have some good years ahead to spend together (if the Lord allows) and we plan to enjoy them. Love my children . . . love my grandchildren .. . . . love them great grandboys . . . but happy it is now we have time for each other. I admire people my age that have the patience to tend to little ones 24/7 . . . the good Lord made us all different and it all is " good. " -Helen Helen, You know why women our age should not have babies................. We'd put them down & forget where we left them!!!!! hee hee I have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. I cant imagine your having great grandchildren and you are my age!!!!! Pat
Guest guest
Hey Pat, I've know a few grandparents in their mid-30s were were then great grandparents afore they were 50 .. in the USA and in other countries. I was raised by a super-nice stepfather .. but before my father (a real knucklehead) went under snakes .. he fathered a son who is now younger than my oldest grandson. I'm not recommending or condemning any of the above. ;-P Butch > Helen, > > You know why women our age should not have babies................. > We'd put them down & forget where we left them!!!!! hee hee > > I have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. " I agree with you Helen, I have two grown children and so far, 4 grandchildren and I am only 47. I absolutely love being able to go for a visit but not having children around under my feet allllll the time! It is so nice once they are grown and gone. Now I am not saying I did not like having my children around when they were growing up (along with all the ones my son brought home!) <big grin>, I actually enjoyed them till they hit the teenage years then there were just too many around all the time.....my cupboards were bare before the weekend was even over. Gotta love them, though!. Whohoo!! > > Blessings, > Doreen My first grandson was born December 2, 2003. Talk about a wonderful Christmas present! My other 3 are girls but I love them all. I keep asking my son and DIL when they are going to give me a grandson. My son is afraid to try because he already has two daughters! He says two girls are enough but if there was a 100% guarantee on having a boy they would go for it and then re-budget to accomodate another family member! I much prefer to buy for a boy than a girl. I guess inside and way of thinking is more male than female with me. I don't understand females all that much but men aren't much of a mystery to me. hmmmm wonder if that is because my father and older brother raised me while my mother contended with everyone else....and that was in the Army for so many years. When I joined there still weren't a lot of females around. Most stations I was the only one so to get along you start thinking like 'them'....<grin>. Congrats on all your " bright lights " .
