When i do a party for teens i print out a lot of the info, especially on how to be an acne-detective so they can learn what ingridients to avoid when shopping for their cosmetics. Guest guest
Hi Tiffany, I've always heard of jojoba actually being good for acne prone skin. I make a massage blend for a friend who is prone to adult acne on his back and jojoba is one of the main ingredients and he says it works great! Here is a list of ingredients and how they rate for acne prone skin. Its done up kind of cute too http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acne_detective/article6.htm *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com tiffany_godfrey02 [tagodfrey] Monday, February 09, 2004 2:30 PM Jojoba Is Jojoba oil okay to use on break-out prone skin? I've heard yes and no -- I read somewhere that it can clog pores so it's not good for acne prone skin, but I read somewhere else that it has a sebum- balancing effect and is great for acne-prone skin. I like to use oil (usually a mixture of EVOO and Castor oil) to remove my makeup at night before I wash my face, and Jojoba was recommended to me by a friend. Can anyone tell me whether or not this would be a good idea for break-out prone skin? Thanks! Tiffany
