Guest guest
Hello! I've been lurking here a while now and thought it best to introduce myself. I'm Kelly and I live in upstate NY. Thanks to Butch for showing me the way to this group! :-) I see lots of familiar face and lots of new ones too! I started making soap last year and before going much further, thought it would be a good idea to educate myself on EO's and all the things they can do...good and bad. I'm also a big fan of alternative therapies, so they, along with herbs and such, are right up my alley. :-) I appreciate all the knowledgeable folks here that share their education, thoughts, opinions and experiences with the rest of us. Now, for a question...I have a friend who accidentally got a chemical burn on his leg (plaster). The plaster was dry (not reconstituted) but still caused a spot on his leg that burns/itches and the skin keeps sloughing off. He's one of those stubborn types that refuses to go to a doctor (plus the fact he doesn't have insurance doesn't help), so I was wondering if helichrysum, either the oil or hydrosol would be something that may help in a case like this? Thanks so much and I hope you all have a wonderful day! :-) Kelly Beers
