Guest guest
Hi all, can anyone help me with a formula for my DBF, He has horrendus migrain headaches that put him out of commission for 24-48 hours at a time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Yours and His, Deonia
Guest guest
If anyone has the answer for this, I would like it also. I have to pop some excedrin for mine to go away, but with that you have to be careful or you will get the rebound headaches. Rahnny
Guest guest
I'll be interested in other E.O. and herb ideas. But for me, my migraine head aches are from eating too much sugar foods, starches and sugar drinks. A good colon cleanse and better diet sure help. When I'm suffering though, I sniff Tiger Balm, use hot compresses on sinus area, sip chammomile tea and sometimes tickle my throat to vomit up the awful sinus drainage sitting in my stomach that makes me so nauseated. That really seems to help. Diana of Dewberry Hill >>>Hi all, can anyone help me with a formula for my DBF, He has horrendus migrain headaches that put him out of commission for 24-48 hours at a time. I hope he can find some relief from some of these suggestions. BTW, he told me just a while ago that the doctor told him he does suffer from the cluster migraines. I feel so sorry for him when he has one and i'm helpless to help him. Yours and His, Deonia > >
Guest guest
Lifelong migraine sufferer over here! <waving> I would suggest testing for food allergies. After suffering from these monsters for over 30 years (oh, the wasted time and unnecessary pain!!!) I have discovered that wheat and dairy trigger migraines for me. I have gone from having two or three a MONTH to having two or three a YEAR. Boy, it's tough to avoid wheat and dairy -- they're in everything, but it's soooo worth it for me! Good luck to your DBF!!! I started them nearly 30 years ago too and were having them so often I could not tell up from down. Since I changed my eating habits my migraines and even regular headaches have decreased to one or two a year. I had to stop caffiene, chocolate, cut back on dairy products and sweets. I did it at first because I was a walking heart attack with my weight at 210, triglycerides in the high 400 range and cholesterol right around 350 range. The added benefit of lessening my migraines was a definite bonus. I have had dislocated fingers, 5 or 6 surgeries and a few other things that cause a great deal of pain but nothing has ever been as painful as a migraine. Even today I compare all pain I have (sinus headaches, arthritis & FMS) to my migraines of old and it pales greatly.
