I am not Butch, but I know that a 1.5% is all

that is needed with Helichrysum for it to work.

It takes time though for any improvement to be

seen.

I have a friend that had open heart surgery

January 2003. I fixed her up a lotion with 1.5%

helichrysum and 1.5% German Chamomile . She said

it really helped with the 'pulling' after the

first application and the redness and puffiness

started decreasing after 2 months. Now, a year

later, she is quite happy to be able to wear low

cut blouses again. No it it is not completely

gone and she is still using the blend.

Also there were many posts to this on IDMA quite

a while back and just about everyone that posted

said that a 1.5% dilution works wonders so why

waste the helichrysum when a lower percentage

will work. Just my thoughts on it. Not

recommending at all but anecdotally it seems to

work just fine.

Now to figure out your math take the size of your

bottle in ML's and multiply it by 1.5%. That will

give you the number of drops to use.

30 ml x .05 = 1.5 drops whereas

30 ml x .015 =.45

Figuring the dilution is the easy part .. but I'm not so sure its gonna

work on horrible burn scars .. might to some degree but I wouldn't bet a

lotta money on it .. and I sell the oil.

Its not an overnight thing .. takes long-term treatment and that's darn

expensive .. seems that this MIGHT BE more in the line of requiring some

plastic surgery .. thought that's a WAG .. at best.

Anya is right on the procedure .. its basically 95 of this and 5 of

that. But to get a ball park dilution of a tad less than 5% dilution

in milliliters (which I think is safer considering the wide area of

usage required) .. take 4 fluid ounces (118.29 ml) of Rose Hip Seed and

add 5 ml of Heli italicum .. that's not exact but it will get you as

close as you can without precision measuring to betwixt the 4% and 5%

dilution mark.

Still .. I would give a lot of thought to investing that much money and

taking the slim .. but possible .. chance of sensitization from use of

any EO over a wide area. Its not just dilution that increases the

chances of sensitization .. its also area of coverage and frequency of

use .. plus a little luck .. good or bad.

Y'all keep smiling. Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
