Guest guest
I learned the hard way about sensitization. Making soap....pouring this and that in a bowl....sniffing...adding more....sniffing again. Got a huge headache from Ylang and also severe diarrhea.......I can no longer even have a faint whiff of Ylang without the runs and a headache and nausea. Used to love it...now I have to say I dislike the scent in the extreme. I don't think I will ever use anything neat again and never will I put my nose in a bowl of essential oils. They are very very powerful. I have three logs of soap in quarantine (sp) while I decide what to do with them. I do feel pretty silly about it but I'm glad I learned. It is interesting....I kept wondering why one of my most popular soaps didn't smell nice to me anymore. I had no clue why until I got here and realized what had happened too me with Ylang...sensitization! I am just thankful to my toes that it was not Bulgarian Lavender!
