aromalamp question

With the aroma lamps....would you necessarily have to put water in the well

part....could you just put a few drops of oil in the well(without water) and

the heat from the candle would help diffuse it quicker than if it was just

evaporating on its own? Seems like it would work like a bulb diffuser. Or

would it get too hot for the EOs.

yes, I started putting water in my diffusers after trying to clean

sticky, dried patchouli goo out of one of mine. YUCK.

Also, without the water, the bowl can shatter due

to the heat of the tea light. The directions with

most candle type aroma lamps tell you to add the

water for this reason.
