Hey Dale,

Buncha them rascals I reckon :-p I spent three years in Hawaii and

have visited Puerto Rico .. and lemme tell you that having a laid back

local .. not touristic .. hangout is not a bad thing.

If you go touristic you run into labor problems .. same as in the rest

of the world. You gotta hire smart, educated folks .. and you gotta

maintain certain standards .. standards that are above and beyond what

folks who want to " go native " really want .. folks like Hemmingway. My

idea of a great place is one that pulls in $50 a day in profit after all

expenses .. one I'm free to use without cost. When repairs are needed

you send someone out to beach comb or scrounge and find some planks or

canvass and repair it. Entertainment is as you find it .. folks make

their own if they're giving the freedom. Course .. the bartender gotta

be one's them big Jamaican dudes whut gotta voice like a foghorn .. and

smiles a lot .. shows a lotta white teeth .. but folks don't mess with

him cause he can also show his other side. ;-p Butch
