Guest guest
I am doing my once a month clean up of my computer and find the following software on my computer: n-CASE. In order to uninstall it directs me to their website to download and save a file of theirs. I'm not about to do that!! It describes itself as an authorized (by who it doesn't say) data collector. It sends you to websites that they feel are compatible with a website you visit. In fact it says it was downloaded onto your computer as a result of either visiting a site authorized to download to you or if you downloaded free software. Now, we do NOT ever download software. MSN support was no help at all thank you. They said it's beyond their expertise. That maybe I could call my pc manufacturer and ask them how to go into Windows and delete it. Anyone have any similar experience? When I click uninstall it directs me to a site. Hubby clicked the download uninstall (about gave me a heartattack) and what came up was the 'what do you want to do?'...blah blah...it would not let us just 'open'. It will only 'save' (which we did not do!!). I would advise to not even go to the site to see what I'm talking about. I bet it downloads you automatically and you will have the same problem. So don't visit the site, but please let me know if you've ever heard of such a thing: an automatic spammer download that you can never get rid of. My Norton anti-virus did absolutely nothing....blah.
