Guest guest
Tracey [hockeymom91030] Can anyone tell me about Libety Natual? I'd like to place an order there, but since the minimum is $50, I'd like to make sure. Thanks all... Tracey Hi Tracey, Problem number one I have with Liberty is that they haven't updated their catalog prices in a couple of years, both the website and the paper catalog, so it is impossible to know what the prices are, unless you call and ask them about everything you want a price on. For 2 years I've been asking them when the catalog will be updated they say " No time soon. " Then I ask, how am I supposed to know what the prices are then, and the response is " Well the prices are just a little higher now " . So on some items it may be a few cents more, on other items the prices have doubled. I suppose its one way to keep the prices LOOKING low when folks visit the web site ;-p Another issue I have with them is some of their stuff seems kind of old and some stuff seems not the best quality. They do have some good stuff at good prices, but I've personally had hit and miss experiences with them, and with the mystery price thing added to all the rest, I haven't been inspired to re-order from them lately I wish I had better things to say over all. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/>
Guest guest
Thanks Chris. Every little bit of info helps. I figured I'd get some good responses and some negatives. I trust you guys. SO far, you've never led me astray. Looks like I may have to call them to double check everything if I am interested in buying. Thanks. again! Guest guest
I have bought some stuff, both floral waxes, absolues and concretes from them and is pleased with their stuff. Since I only bought from them twise, I don't have Chris experiences with their lack of upgrading their prices. But here I simply must ask, don't you have a consumers law over there, that states that the seller is obliged to sell to the price he have stated in a pricelist, catalogue or on plain labels in teh store?? Here we do have such a law, so if Liberty was a Swedish company, they had to sell to the prices they carry on their website. Anyhow, I use Libertys floral waxes in perfumes, candles and such and the abolue and concretes I use only for perfumery making. For that purpose they are exelent, cause the prices are very good and affordable. Fragrant Blessings, Ylva

Guest guest
Ylva - What are the concretes and what do you do with them in perfume making. If it's not too difficult, I may be ble to give it a try. Thank you or any info you can share.
