Vitex- Mr. Woodfield & peppermint

I have read this thread with interest , I am sorry that Mr. Woodfield

has left, I for one respect pharmacists opinions, many many times

they have caught my Dr.s mistakes in writing prescriptions, I was

particularly interested in his 14+ year old daughters use of vitex as

I too have a daughter who suffers from PMS, is it safe in regards

that she is still in puberty etc?

I did get a sample a while ago from Butch- which came with a

disclaimer. I have 2 uterus' I do not suffer much from PMS, my

husband may disagree, but I do suffer with pain, and I hate tea, I do

intend to try the vitex.

I am well aware of the sue crazy world we live in, but where does

personal reponsibility come in?

Peppermint eo- makes me hallucinate? so I don't use it, it may be a

combination of my meds but if I continued to use it and voices told

me to commit a crime can I sue? I think we need to give people some

credit for having at least half a brain, I have had odd reactions to

many drugs (ex: vioxx hurt my stomach and made my breasts larger-

WoW the nurse was impressed, why did you stop taking it- because with

the cup increasement came horrible pain!)

It is absolutely the practioners responsibility to educate themselves

and present all the facts on any thing they " prescribe " , but I do

disagree that it is the distributors responsibility to hold the hands

of every customer some orders may raise red flags and the more honest

distributors would question such orders.

Anything we use and react badly and continue to use is just

ridiculous and only we should be held responsible for that. Of course

there are exceptions to this but nothing on this list posted on vitex

has made me run for the cure all, I read the information, good and

bad and made a personal choice as I do with anything I put on or in

my body.

I am sorry Mr. Woodfield has left for simply sharing his experience,

we all can only benefit from such professionals input - whether we

agree or disagree.
