Guest guest
Evelyn, that was one of the first ones that crossed my mind. Also the river birch, it's be the water & has a very unique, flaky (*S*) bark. But I've narrowed it down to a giant Redwood (love drining through the Redwood forest traveling from Calif to Or), but I think it would be the Oregon Hemlock, I love the smell of these trees in the forests, & depending on how it's used it can be good or bad.
