Guest guest
Hello some of you already know me from other lists so I will keep this brief. Another listee forwarded me a post on horses and suggested I join and comment, but well he didn’t leave the header on the title and I have run out of time searching the digest. Anyway it was a pleasant exercise to surf the messages and nice to NOT see a lot of the garbage I see on other lists when it comes to using any natural therapy with animals. (and the same abhorrence I feel at times). My species of choice is horses, and that is where I have the most experience, now over a decade. Closely followed by dogs as most horseowners have a dog or two or three, however my experience with dogs is not as extensive so I carry out my canine practice in a holistic veterinary clinic so I have vets on hand. (PS I am NOT a vet). Cats I only know how to let sleep on my bed and what ‘natural substances’ not what to use with them, I refer queries those on to people more of affinity than I. I have joined the digest and hope I catch the animal posts, that’s when I will comment, and hopefully show you that some of us working with animals are not all dropping oils from the clouds or trying to poison our animals with emetic herbal preparations. I don’t have enough time to get into arguments, but hopefully I am able to give some insights into an industry that is special when practiced with integrity. regards Catherine Author ~ A Healthy Horse the Natural Way http://www.catherinebird.com.au Keep up to date with natural therapies for horses with our monthly online newsletter at catherinebird/ --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Welcome Catherine! I'm off to visit your site - being owned by 4 horses of my own, and one boarder ... and 3 dogs and 4 barn cats - I salute you for your care and interest in helping out our 4 legged friends! I especially will be interested in the equine info you provide! blessings Pam Daystar Ranch http://www.daystarranch.com - Catherine Bird Thursday, January 15, 2004 12:56 AM Just a quick introduction Hello some of you already know me from other lists so I will keep this brief.
