For those of you in the San Diego area (and I know of quite a few of you actually) pay close attention to the following: *************************************** Dr. David Stewart, Young Living distributor and author of the Book, HEALING OILS OF THE BIBLE, Will be the featured guest from 11:00 am - Noon, Saturday, January 17, 2004, on a new radio show to be aired on AM-1000 Radio, Carlsbad, California, which covers all of Southern California around San Diego. The radio show will be called STANDING IN THE LIGHT and is hosted by radio personality, Jeanne Jennay, author of the book: ONE SPLIT SECOND. Her show will be broadcast every Saturday morning 11:00 am Noon which will be premiered on January 17. Dr. Stewart will be its first guest. When Jeanne was introduced to HEALING OILS OF THE BIBLE, she thought that would be the perfect topic for her first show. Dr. Stewart¹s interview will remain on the site permanently for those outside the San Diego area who wish to listen in later or share the program with friends. ********************************** Cheers! Guest guest Posted January 13, 2004 Report Share Posted January 13, 2004 Hi Pam, First thing to know about the " oils of the bible " ... almost any oil that would have been mentioned in the bible would have been a macerated oil, not a distilled essential oil. Yes, distillation did exist a long time ago, but no it was not something that most folks had access to. I don't have time to go into it right now, but I'll tell you this, very bluntly, Young Living is sadly not a very trustworthy source of information about essential oils. The only group they have a good reputation with is those within the Young Living organization I am sure that many folks here will happily share with you information that backs my above statement.
