Photosensitization .. generally .. but one application is enough.

Sensitization ....... not necessarily .. one application is enough.

Irritation .......... not at all .. one application is always enough.

Toxicity ............ generally involves ingestion .. though some oils

can be toxic with frequent use .. like Wintergreen and Sweet Birch.

Soap is not normally left on the skin .. its rinsed off. But .. if

someone were to soak in a tub for a half hour then get out, dry off,

get dressed and go out .. they might experience photosensitization

from Bergamot.

There is a report in Plant Aromatics of a young gal spilling Bergamot

on her hand while putting it in bathwater .. doesn't say how long she

was in the tub but it appears that the Bergamot was neat .. and later

she did have photosensitivity.

Why not use FCF Bergamot for soap .. if you gotta use Bergamot at all.

I don't want to sell it as its manipulated but that's my call .. many

folks don't agree and that's fine .. but I would use it in soap.
