Guest guest
Hey all, It is unseasonably cold here in little Salem Oregon and I have been snowed in/iced in for days now. This is definately weird for us for sure. Been drinking some of this to help take the chill off. It is YUMMY! And you can drink it with the spiced rum or without and it's still yummy, okay very fattening but worth it! Hot Buttered Rum 1 Qt. vanilla ice cream, softened 1 lb brown sugar 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar Cream all these together then add: 1 lb softened butter Mix it real good then add: 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. nutmeg Mix well and store in covered container in the freezer. Use 2-3 Tablespoons per large mug, add a shot of spiced rum if desired and sit back and enjoy. Sure wish we were getting some of that warm weather from Texas to help melt off this ice! My poor little herbs outside in pots probably don't stand a chance for survival after this. I'd have put them in the garage, but we are crammed in a little rental right now and there is no extra room in there. Okay, bout time for me to fix up a batch Margaret www.naturalindulgences.com New lower prices on unrefined shea butter and virgin coconut oil! _______________ Have fun customizing MSN Messenger — learn how here! http://www.msnmessenger-download.com/tracking/reach_customize
