Will There EVER Be A Reputable AT Organization? Its Not NAHA!

I don't know much about NAHA except from what I've heard on this list, but what

I've heard doesn't entice me

to join them.

 

So what would it take for us to start our own organization and show NAHA how

it's done? Might be a pipe

dream, but who knows. Might work.

I am in agreement-

I joined last year as a regional director- and was very disappointed.

I was supposed to receive 4 quarterly journals- I think I received 2.

Membership is $100 for ???...I was amazed at the level of self

promotion for the president, her school and her line of

products...very unethical IMO.

I am also a member of the American Herbalists Guild- a highly

reputable association which does a lot to promote herbal education-

and their membership is less and their journal is professional and

educational...

A couple of years ago at the Un-Conference we

talked about this. I did not go last year so I

do not know if anything went forward with it or

not.

 

It is has not mostly because many of us are busy

trying to run businesses. I did some research

and sent it to the people who asked for it. But

even what I researched was not enough. Maybe the

leaders of this would comment if they have time.

 

Involvement time is hard to come by for many of

us.
